  Hatton Country World 6th & 7th, 13th & 14th, 18th to 24th December 2008 Come and see Santa in his magical Grotto, say hello to his reindeer and meet the nativity animals as you hear the Christmas story.

• Victorian Evening at Hoar Park
  Thursday 4 December 2008 from 6 pm Come along to Hoar Park and enjoy a Traditional Victorian Christmas Evening.
• Spooky Stomp
  Funky Monkeys and the Myasthenia Gravis Association are organising a Spooky Stomp this Friday in Sutton Park.
• Diwali 2008
  Walsall Art Gallery 22nd November 11am - 4pm   The celebration of the festival of light, where the lights or lamps signify victory of  good over the evil within every human being.
• Creature Crazy
  Walsall Art Gallery 28th – 31st  October 1pm - 3pm  If you love dressing up come and create a weird animal headdress this half term for you to wear or some alien antennae.

Rebel Readers Book Club

Lichfield Library have started a Rebel Readers Book club for children aged 10 yrs + on the first Saturday of every month.   They held a launch event in December which was well attended and met for the first time properly in Janaury.  We had great fun seeking out the most horrible facts from the Horrible history/geography/sciece series of books as well as fun acitivities like who can eat the most maltesers with chopsticks!  The group meets on the first Saturday of the month from 2.30-3.30 at Lichfield Library, The friary, Lichfield Staffs and is open to all.
