Halloween Party Games

Party Games.

Guess The Ghost.
Have one child leave the room. Then take a large sheet and have a different child stand and hide under the sheet. Mix up the remaining children in the room and then allow the child who left the room to come back inside. That child has to guess who's the ghost, by process of elimination they need to figure out which child is hiding under the sheet.
Then that 'Ghost' goes out of the room and a different child becomes the new ghost, mix up the remaining children and repeat until all of the children have had a turn being the ghost.

Mummy Wrap.
Divide guests into pairs. Give each pair a roll of toilet paper. One person wraps the other with the paper, first one to empty their roll wins. Older kids and adults get two rolls, once the first person is wrapped they wrap their partner. Prizes to the first team who empty both rolls.

Pin The Wart on the Witch.
Similar to Pin the tail on the Donkey. Draw a witch's face on a big piece of paper.
Blindfold each child as his/her turn arrives, spin, point in the right direction. The closest wart to the end of the witches nose wins.

Create A Haunted Story.
Get everyone to sit in a circle. You start the story off (E.g. It was a rainy and cold night as they walked along the road, but in the distance they saw a house...). The story is then passed on to the person on your left where they add their own intrigue or surprises this continues until all the guests have participated and the story has been completed. Without the participants knowing, tape the telling of the story and then play it back for them right away. Depending on their age, you may want to turn off the lights, and have the storyteller shine a torch under their face as they tell their portion of the ghost story.

Zombie Dance.
Play tracks like Monster Mash or Thriller and have the kids dance around. When the music stops the kids become zombies. The last one to take up a zombie pose is out.

Scary Makeover.
You must try and see who can make the worst make over. Divide group into groups of 2,3 or 4 players. Each team needs a willing player to be made up. (It can be a guy or a girl.) The host can act as judge. Each team gets a bag of different items including different makeup items, false eyelashes etc. Give each team 5 minutes to work their magic. The host decides who wins.
The winning makeover artist then has to let herself/himself be given a make over by all of the other players.

Ghost Face Apple Bob.
This game begins just like the regular bobbing for apples. However, this game adds a new twist. Immediately after bobbing for apples, the person bobs for marshmallows in a bowl of flour. You can just imagine the results. The game is quite messy so make sure the floor is tiled or wooden, not carpet or a rug.

Zombie Tag.
Determine a circular area. You may want to rope it off to keep kids inside or lay down a hose in a circle and be prepared to shout "out-of-bounds" to the "zombie".  The zombie wears a mask. Everyone has to stay within the circle while he/she wanders around with his arms reaching out like a zombie. When the zombie groans, all the players must groan back and extend their arms. This is how the zombie closes in on his/her victims. When a player gets tagged, he/she becomes the next zombie and gets to wear the mask.
