All Aboard the Party Bus
This year we were stuck for a party venue for my little boy's birthday.
It's in May but the sun doesn't always shine. We had a party in the Church Hall one year and a house party for him last year.
He started reception class in September so he wanted to invite the boys from his class and a few of his close family friends – too many to have in the house if the weather isn't good.
We thought about a playcentre but he didn't want to do that. After a quick search on the internet I found something called a playbus.
Basically, it's a double decker bus that is kitted out as a playcentre inside, with a slide from upstairs to down! It looked fantastic.
I emailed the company and booked it there and then. He was so excited when the bus pulled up outside the house.
It was brightly painted with animals and all the children cheered as the doors opened.
We had the choice of either doing the food ourselves or it could be provided for us. I decided to let them do the food and take some pressure off myself. They also provided party bags which was great.
The party was really well organised; you can choose the length of time you have the Bus from one hour to all day. You can also hire it for weddings, christenings, school fetes etc... and they will entertain the little ones.
I would definitely recommend this party idea; the kids loved it and a great time was had by all.
