Make your Mother’s Day

Mother's Day is a time for recognising and celebrating the wonderful things your Mum does for all the family. Washing, ironing, cooking, cleaning, homework, taxi driving etc, etc.

It is a day to make Mum feel special and time for her to take a break, put her feet up and relax. Make your Mother's day extra special by treating her, remember you don't
have to spend a lot, it's the sentimental things that get to all mums.

Make her breakfast in bed (try not to spill a bowl of rice crispies all over her though as they easily slide off the tray). The key to this is being organised, ask your Dad or
another adult to take you shopping and by a few things she might like for breakfast, i.e.
muffins, bagels or croissants. If you can buy your mum some flowers, tulips or daffodils are beautiful spring flowers and you can buy them potted so they last or can be planted in the garden later. Remember to hide them somewhere mum won't find them and water them so they don't wilt.
